The OFC College Award in Healthcare Practice level 4 course is designed to help students understand the principles of health and social care from both practical and theoretical perspectives. It covers a wide range of topics such as communication, ethics, policy and legislation, health promotion, and research methods. Students learn how to apply these principles in practice and how to lead in a health and social care setting. This is 50% theory, and 50% practical, with student completing work-based practice for two to three months. You will also need to complete a DBS for patient safety, and duty care practice-based purpose Course content: Introduction to health and social care. Communication in Healthcare.
