Award in Community Development Training

An intensive one-week training course on community development.

This course will give participants the necessary knowledge and skills to assess the needs of a community, develop action plans, and effectively implement the plans in order to bring about positive change.

This one-week training will cover four topics, including:

• Day (1): Community centre development.
• Day (2): Mental health awareness.
• Day (3): Social Determinants of Health.
• Day (4): Public health role.
• Day (5): Community Intervention and Partnership.

This is an event that promotes international and local community-based work training, and gives people an opportunity to gain evidence-based approaches to community development and health promotion.

Those attending this event must be over 18 years of age, with permission from their organizations, or with proof of community leadership or charitable organization membership.
