People moving & handling trainers are ideal for those who want to start teaching safer moving & handling or those who want to refresh their own teaching skills. This is a 3 hours practical training at our training centre or your convenient care organisation training room. WHAT YOU WILL COVER: Examine the Principles of Safer People Moving and Handling within Health and Social Care Settings. Review potential risks associated with Moving and Handling tasks and implement appropriate Risk Control Measures. Consider the correct use of techniques for Lifting, Transferring, and Supporting individuals safely and comfortably. Discuss the significance of effective communication and teamwork in executing Moving and Handling activities. Review compliance with relevant Legislation, Policies, and Guidelines governing Moving and Handling practices in Health and Social Care environments. Practical: in executing Moving and Handling tasks efficiently and effectively. To pass this course, you will have to conduct a 15-minute microteach. HOW TO ENROL NOTE: Delegates MUST have prior knowledge of Moving & Handling of People before attending this course, OR request for free online awareness training once booked your place. The course is run over 2 days, self directed study and face to face with OFC College Trainer you will learn to teach and assess in practice of moving and handling at work or as a teacher
